Panasonic DMC-FX37, LX3, FX150 and FZ28

Panasonic launch the new variant from Lumix series. That is DMC-FX37, LX3, FX150 and FZ28

The FX37 has 25mm ultra wide angle Leica lens and 5x optical zoom captures almost double the viewing area at the same shooting distance as a regular 35mm snapper. It also features AF tracking, which locks onto your subject's face and follows it around the frame that can capture natural, non-staged portraits without blur.  A snip at £250.

The LX3 has a new CCD, promising greatly enhanced image quality. It also has a customised functions setting, that lets you assign a function to a button on the back, for quickly doing what you like to do.

The FX150, meanwhile, packs in an almost indecent 14 megapixels, letting you print massively with no drop in quality. For a compact, that's pretty bloody impressive, we think you'll agree. It also has the face-following AF tracking. For you sir? £300.

The FZ28 has an 18x optical zoom. And that's upgradable to 32x with the Extra Optical Zoom function, although that will degrade your snaps to 3-megapixels. It can also take 13 shots a second. It'll cost £330.
