Panasonic HDC-SD100 and HDC-HS100

Not content with unleashing four ace new cameras, Panasonic has also lifted the lid on two new camcorders. And they're world firsts. Both the HDC-SD100 and HDC-HS100 are the first to use Panasonic's new CMOS system, making for great colour reproduction and image quality even in low light.

Based on CCD technology, it processes red, green and blue components of light separately, meaning truer reproductions on your movies. The HS-100 has a 60GB hard drive, or you can record to SD card. The SD100 is without hard drive. This gadget will be available in September, so get ready to film in HD then.

Middling video quality; some annoying design quirks. but Full set of manual controls; EVF. so overall it's ok.
